Everyone must complete the BRCA Application Form when registering with BRCA for the first time.
Holders of Current Licence/Registration
If you have a current licence or registration you simply need to complete the application form, providing us with your current licence details.
Qualified Electrician or Experienced Cabler
If you are a qualified electrician or an experienced cabler and do not hold a current cabling licence or registration, the following information will assist in explaining your options for gaining a current registration:
- Module-based Pathway for Qualified Electricians and Experienced Cablers: Open Registration
- Module-based Pathway for Qualified Electricians and Experienced Cablers: Restricted Registration
New cabler
If you do not have a current licence or registration you must provide a copy of your qualifications. If you require further clarification as to the type of qualification accepted, the following information will assist you:
Open Registration:

- Module-based Pathway to Open Registration for Ordinary People
Restricted Registration:
- Competency-based Qualification Pathway to Restricted Registration for Ordinary People
- Module-based Training Pathway to Restricted Registration for Ordinary People
When you have completed your application form, you can either fax or mail it to BRCA.
